How Teams are Rostered
CenTex Sports works to create teams that are convenient for families and help players compete alongside others from their local community. Players are primarily rostered based on home location and the schools in their area.
Whenever possible, we group athletes with players who attend the same school or nearby schools to help keep teams local and make practices and team communication easier for families.
If there are not enough players from one centralized area to form a complete team, we will place players on the closest available team within their division.
Our goal is to build balanced teams while keeping players as close to their local school and community as possible.
Metal spikes are completely outlawed across all professional stadium turf systems to protect the under-pad layers. Athletes must utilize molded rubber cleats or specialized turf shoes.
Our divisions operate inside premier high school turf stadiums located near the Highway 6 and Interstate 35 junction. Specific field assignments, parking layouts, and gate operating hours route directly to registered coaches.
Our tackle track implements highly structured age-weight divisions along with certified officiating crews. Every coach on the sideline must pass a rigorous background check and complete mandatory head-impact safety training before training athletes.
Because our stadium partners utilize advanced, professional-grade synthetic turf with deep sub-surface drainage, we do not cancel matches for rain alone. Play is only delayed for a 30-minute safety window if lightning strikes within an 8-mile facility radius.
