Standard Roster Rules & Divisional Alignment

How do families navigate our youth sports leagues and events roster placements?

We keep things fair, clear, and focused on student-athlete safety. Our system groups players by strict birthdate windows rather than school grades to guarantee balanced, competitive divisions.

Our youth sports leagues and events software updates capacity limits automatically so parents can see open slots in real time.

Community, Family, and Growth on All Levels

We measure success by the human growth of our athletes, not just the numbers on the scoreboard. CenTex Sports is a family. We create safe, elite spaces where local kids learn accountability, build resilience, and discover their true potential.

FAQs

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

What mandatory equipment do players need to bring on game day?

Athletes must wear an official CenTex Sports jersey, a protective mouthguard, and pocketless shorts during all league games. Cleats are highly recommended for optimal traction on our turf and grass fields, but metal spikes are strictly prohibited across all divisions for player safety.

How does the registration waitlist work if a division is full?

Our system automatically places your athlete in a chronological queue the moment a division hits its maximum roster cap. Our league operations team actively monitors these queues to check if we can secure extra field time or recruit additional volunteer coaches to open up secondary brackets.

Are your youth flag football leagues co-ed?

Yes, our standard flag football divisions are completely co-ed, allowing boys and girls to compete on the same turf from ages 6U up to 14U. For families looking for a specialized track, we also offer our dedicated Girls Flag program and elite 7v7 passing circuits during specific parts of the year.

What happens if a regular season game gets canceled due to weather?

The league rolls all weather-canceled matchups directly into our pre-scheduled makeup weekend at the end of the regular season calendar. We make field conditions and safety calls by 6:00 AM on game days, pushing instant text alerts directly to parents so families never make a wasted trip to the sports complex.
